Job Summary
Earned Wealth is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented M&A Corporate Development Associate to join our team. This role will be crucial in supporting all aspects of our deal execution activities - helping to evaluate, identify and attract top quality firms serving physician and dentist clients for the Earned platform. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a passion for building connections with people, strong research and analytical skills, and the ability to support M&A workstreams. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our M&A strategy by supporting the corporate development team in evaluating and identifying potential acquisition/partnership opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be able to assist in supporting the transaction process. We are looking for candidates who can quickly organize and maintain information requests, prepare analysis, and support ongoing diligence workstreams for multiple live deals simultaneously. This will require excellent organization and project management skills to coordinate with both internal (Earned) and external (due diligence providers and seller) stakeholders.

You will be supported by a strong existing Client Development team, along with a leadership team that is highly skilled at M&A and integration. Additionally, we have already built strong internal processes for evaluating and acquiring potential targets.Â

Key Responsibilities
 Your key unique value-add is supporting and maintaining deal execution activities with oversight from senior members of our corporate development team.
Â
Transaction execution support activities:
Support the preliminary add-on assessment based upon the unique criteria by which Earned evaluates potential target quality
Collaborate on the background research activity for potential add-on targets (people, revenue mix, unique service lines, etc.)
Assist in preparing preliminary financial analysis and forecast model for each acquisition – from the initial historical financial analysis through the post-close growth plan
Manage the information flow between add-on candidates, third-party diligence providers, and Earned teams
Own the information and data intake for potential targets, as well organizing items in a central repository and synthesizing information for the benefit of Earned’s internal leadership team and functional experts
Assist the Corporate Development team in supporting the management and oversight of all third-party diligence providers
Other activities:
Support M&A-related updates to the Board, Earned Executive Leadership, the Investment Committee (including our growth equity sponsors), and eventually other financing partners (i.e. lenders)
Monitor all relevant M&A activity and news activity and provide critical market intelligence to Earned team through both publicly available information and established network of investment banker relationships

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
2-3 years of experience in investment banking, financial due diligence, private equity, and/or corporate development rolesÂ
Excellent communication and collaboration skills - trusted to represent Earned in a variety of contexts, including with acquisition targets, our leadership team, and our investors
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis
Excellent project management skills; familiarity with technology tools to support M&A process a plus Â
Comfort creating presentations and illustrations designed to tell a story to both business owners and internal team
High emotional intelligence
