This role is focused on identifying and engaging top-tier financial services talent to support the growth of a modern, mission-driven financial planning organization. You will be responsible for sourcing highly qualified Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) and financial advisors who align with a holistic, fee-only advisory model. Operating in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment, you will leverage advanced sourcing tools and outreach strategies to connect with passive candidates and spark meaningful interest quickly. The position requires deep industry knowledge to effectively assess candidate fit and communicate the value of a modern financial planning approach. You will play a key role in shaping the talent pipeline by ensuring only high-quality, well-qualified professionals move forward in the hiring process. This is a remote contract role where speed, precision, and strong sourcing expertise are essential.
Accountabilities:- Conduct high-volume, targeted sourcing of Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) and financial services professionals using advanced LinkedIn Recruiter techniques and Boolean search strategies.
- Execute proactive outreach campaigns designed to engage passive candidates and move them quickly through early-stage recruitment conversations.
- Manage candidate pipelines and ensure accurate tracking and updates within the applicant tracking system (Workable).
- Screen and vet candidates for CFP® certification, experience level, and alignment with fiduciary, fee-only financial planning models.
- Partner closely with recruiting teams to refine sourcing strategies based on feedback, conversion data, and hiring needs.
- Maintain high-quality candidate engagement while balancing speed, volume, and accuracy in outreach efforts.
- Support continuous improvement of sourcing processes and talent acquisition workflows.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of sourcing experience within financial services, ideally focused on Financial Advisors, Wealth Managers, or CFP professionals.
- Strong understanding of the financial advisory landscape, including RIAs, broker-dealers, fiduciary standards, and regulatory frameworks (FINRA, SEC).
- Advanced proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems such as Workable.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume sourcing pipelines while maintaining quality and responsiveness.
- Strong communication and outreach skills with the ability to engage passive, senior-level professionals.
- Deep familiarity with the CFP® certification process and financial planning industry standards.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Availability to work 25–40 hours per week for at least 90 days, with potential for extension.
