Pre-Event Prep: Support the team on all pre-event preparations. Contribute to all prep meetings and conference planning process. Learn about event objectives. Review exhibitor/attendee list. Prepare recommendations for local activities.
Tallo Platform Exploration & Familiarity: Explore and become familiar with Tallo as a platform. Engage with every Tallo feature and learn about Tallo as an organization. Become a subject matter expert on all things Tallo and comfortable with sharing your expertise with event attendees.
Social Media & Content Creation: Create and produce engaging content during the conference/event such as photos and videos. Perform street interviews and spotlight attendees. Manage live event social media takeovers on Tallo social media channels. Pre-Event content planning and post event recap.
Event Setup & Breakdown: Setup booth and other company sponsored materials. Purchase and deliver locally sourced items. Confirm arrival of conference shipments and inventory. Breakdown booth and pack up conference materials. Drop off materials at local shipping vendor.
Attendee Engagement & Booth Coverage: Represent Tallo and actively engage with conference attendees. Manage and cover sponsored booth during conference. Qualify and queue booth visitors. Hand out booth number and info at high-traffic areas. Manage games or interactive experiences. Scan badges; enter additional data into lead record on lead retrieval system. Restock swag and materials. Conduct competitive analysis of other vendors.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Currently a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior in high school
Must be based in or able to work on-site in Atlanta, GA, during the Skills USA National Leadership & Skills Conference
Experience creating social media content (your own accounts, a club's page, or helping a business totally counts!)
Good at communicating (writing and talking)
Basic familiarity with Canva or other video editing tools (CapCut, iMovie, etc.)
Can create a Tallo account and use it
Access to personal smartphone and laptop.
Ability to clear a required background check.
Parental consent to participate is required, AND
Student must have or be able to get current work permit, if necessary per state law.

WHAT YOU’LL GET:
Paid experience – You’ll get hands on work experience with our Social Media team, Marketing team, and others while being paid for your efforts
Mentorship – You'll be paired with a mentor, a manager, and have weekly team and one-on-one meetings with our early talent development leader to provide a robust support system.

Impactful projects – You won’t be given busy work. You’ll work on real-world business impactful projects that garner real results and contribute to our overall goals.

DURATION & TIMING:
This will be a 3-week commitment comprising of an estimated 60 work hours in total:
Pre-conference: May 25-29, estimated 10 hours virtually between the hours of 9:00AM-5:00PM
Conference support: June 01-05, estimated 20-40 hours onsite between the hours of 9:00AM-5:00PM
Post conference: June 08-12, estimated 10 hours virtually between the hours of 9:00AM-5:00PM

This is a hybrid position, requiring two weeks home-based/virtual work and one week in-person during conference in Atlanta, GA.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections.
We anticipate this position will pay $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
