As a Commissions Administrator, you will play a key part in ensuring timely and precise commission calculations for insurance professionals while maintaining strong data integrity across multiple systems. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies, manage deadlines, and support ongoing operational efficiency. You will also serve as a key point of contact for commission-related inquiries, helping maintain trust and clarity for advisors.
Accountabilities:- Collect, process, and accurately input commission statements from multiple insurance providers while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Reconcile commission transactions by analyzing records and cross-referencing them with bank statements and internal systems.
- Manage commission processing timelines and ensure all payments are completed accurately and on schedule in alignment with deadlines.
- Respond to agent inquiries regarding commissions with professionalism, accuracy, and strong customer service, including handling complex or sensitive cases.
- Maintain organized financial records and support ongoing reporting and tracking activities within the commissions function.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and support continuous improvement of commission processes.
- Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as required to support the commissions department.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an insurance, IMO, or carrier environment is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with financial data and reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and confidently.
- Strong problem-solving and investigative abilities to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is considered a strong asset.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
