Position Summary
The Commercial Director is responsible for overseeing all financial, contractual, and commercial operations for the Developmental Services division. This role ensures strong financial performance, risk management, and governance across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance across projects
- Oversee contract administration, change orders, and claims management
- Establish commercial governance, reporting, and controls
- Partner with Director of Field Operations and VP on strategy and execution
- Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks
- Support margin management and profitability targets
- Serve as primary commercial interface with clients and external partners
- Build scalable financial systems to support division growth
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in commercial/project financial management
- Background in large-scale construction or capital projects
- Strong contract, risk, and cost control expertise
- Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
