Put your passion, drive and expertise to work with the world’s cloud security leader.</p><p>We're looking for a talented and business-oriented <strong>Commercial Counsel</strong> to join our Legal team. Reporting to the Senior Legal Director, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS Subscription Agreements, Master Services and/or Purchase Agreements, Hosted Services Agreements</li><li>Negotiating Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), Information Security Addendums, and similar agreements directly with customers and partners</li><li>Improving and maintaining commercial agreement templates, contract negotiation playbooks, and legal processes to support global scaling</li><li>Partnering closely with internal teams—including Sales, Finance, Deal Desk, and Business Development—to efficiently execute contract negotiations</li><li>Advising internal teams to balance business interests with mitigating risk and aligning with applicable laws and policies</li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)</strong></p><ul><li>Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active admission to a State Bar</li><li>5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts at a leading law firm, in-house, or preferably a combination thereof</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in commercial transactions within the technology and SaaS space, especially supporting Sales teams</li><li>Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations such as CCPA and GDPR, and experience drafting and negotiating related terms </li><li>Flexibility and ability to thrive in dynamic, deadline-driven environments </li><li>Organized, results-driven, and client-focused team player </li></ul><p><strong>What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)</strong></p><ul><li>In-house legal experience at a publicly-traded SaaS company</li><li>Experience working with large, multinational customers across industries such as health, financial services, and insurance</li><li>Familiarity with contract management systems and legal project management tools</li></ul><p>#LI-Remote</p><p>#LI-RL2</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level.
