In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting revenue growth by leading commercial legal efforts in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment. You will partner closely with sales, product, and cross-functional teams to structure, negotiate, and close complex customer agreements. The position requires a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset, balancing legal risk with commercial priorities to keep deals moving efficiently. Accountabilities:- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts, MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and partner agreements
- Partner with sales, revenue, and partnerships teams to facilitate efficient deal execution and support business growth
- Provide clear, practical legal advice on commercial risk, enabling fast and informed decision-making
- Structure legal positions that align with revenue goals while maintaining acceptable risk levels
- Negotiate inbound agreements with vendors, partners, and service providers
- Develop and optimize contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and approval workflows to streamline processes
- Identify recurring challenges in contracting and implement scalable improvements
- Support legal aspects of privacy, data protection, and product-related matters in commercial agreements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, security, and compliance teams on contract terms and regulatory considerations
Requirements:
- 6–8+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally combining law firm and in-house roles
- Strong experience negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements, particularly in SaaS or enterprise software environments
- Excellent business judgment with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial objectives
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business teams
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on enabling business outcomes
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Nice to have:
- Experience in product counseling, privacy, or data protection matters
- Familiarity with U.S. and global data privacy frameworks
- Experience with security-related contractual provisions
- Background in high-growth SaaS or enterprise technology companies
- Exposure to international commercial agreements
