About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Collegiate Sports Sales Representative to join our team. Candidates must have experience working within or selling to college coaches, administrators, and/or athletic departments. This individual will be responsible for expanding our collegiate sports clientele by acquiring new college sports teams and programs. This is a direct quota-holding sales role. With a strong understanding of the collegiate sports landscape and a passion for sales, you will play a pivotal role in achieving revenue targets and contributing to the company's growth.


Key Responsibilities

New Client Acquisition:

- Identify and target prospective collegiate sports teams and athletic departments.

- Conduct research to understand each prospect's needs, seasonality, and travel requirements.

Sales Process Management:

- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

- Schedule and conduct calls, meetings, and negotiations with decision-makers.

Revenue Generation:

- Focus on selling travel services to collegiate sports teams.

- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Relationship Building:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with coaches, athletic directors, and administrative/operations staff.

- Leverage existing relationships to generate referrals and additional business opportunities.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with the internal operations team to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.

- Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to enhance product offerings and customer experience.


Qualifications
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Experience working with or selling to collegiate coaches, administrators or athletic departments.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in a quota-holding role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Experience working with collegiate athletic programs is highly desirable.


Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of the collegiate sports landscape and seasonality.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse client base.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willing to travel occasionally as required to meet with clients or industry events.

Compensation 

  • Base Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year depending on experience
  • Performance Bonus: Up to $10,000 annually based on achieving revenue targets and other performance metrics.
