Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document the flow of collateral-related data across systems, ensuring accurate technical and business lineage.
  • Interpret legal agreements such as ISDAs and Credit Support Annexes (CSAs) to inform data mapping and workflow requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, legal, operations, technology) to enhance collateral data management processes.
  • Query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL to support reporting, controls, and regulatory initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into clear documentation, including data dictionaries, lineage diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to align on requirements, data definitions, and workflow enhancements.
  • Contribute to projects focused on collateral optimization and regulatory reporting (e.g., UMR, BCBS 239 compliance).
  • Work with collateral platforms such as Colline (preferred) or other similar systems to support daily operations and strategic enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in collateral management, with deep understanding of industry practices and terminology.
  • Strong familiarity with derivatives and how they impact collateral workflows and margin requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with collateral management systems (Colline preferred).
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with large data sets across systems.
  • Hands-on experience in data lineage, metadata management, or data governance initiatives.
  • Exceptional analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience functioning as a Business Analyst in a financial services, risk, or regulatory environment.
