This role offers the opportunity to drive cloud-native security solutions across enterprise and public sector accounts, blending technical expertise with consultative sales skills. The Cloud Specialist will manage assigned territories, identify new business opportunities, and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Working closely with engineering and pre-sales teams, this role ensures that clients adopt, configure, and optimize cloud platforms to meet their security and operational goals. Ideal candidates are self-starters with a hunter mentality, able to balance short-term sales opportunities with strategic account development. This position provides high visibility, autonomy, and the chance to influence technology adoption at scale across diverse organizations.


Accountabilities:
  • Prospect and develop end-user accounts to drive adoption of cloud-native security platforms
  • Present and demonstrate software-defined security solutions to CISOs, IT leaders, integrators, and operational managers
  • Collaborate with regional and local partners to design, configure, sell, install, and support cloud-based solutions
  • Partner with engineering and pre-sales teams to ensure technical excellence in proposals, POCs, and RFP responses
  • Provide pricing, configurations, and commercial guidance to meet customer needs
  • Forecast and report sales activities, ensuring alignment with targets
  • Build high-level relationships within accounts to capture incremental product and service opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of competitive offerings and market trends to inform strategy
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5+ years of technical sales experience in enterprise software or security solutions
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in mid-market, large enterprise, or public sector accounts
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions; familiarity with cloud security platforms preferred
  • Strong solution-selling, consultative, and relationship-building skills, including C-level engagement
  • Knowledge of the security market and relevant technologies
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and reside within the designated territory
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of operating independently

  • Target base salary: $90,000 - $105,000 USD; on-target earnings: $180,000 - $210,000 USD
