About the role
Concept Plus is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support and maintain key client financial application infrastructure within client cloud. Lead the migration effort from on premises environment. Manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure to meet client needs.
What you'll do
- Lead cloud migration of platforms from legacy hosting to client's cloud.
- Architect and implement high-availability, secure, and compliant AWS infrastructure tailored to financial management workloads.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Configure and maintain AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, Transit Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc.
- Ensure full alignment with client Risk Management Framework and cloud policy requirements.
- Collaborate with development, cybersecurity, and financial systems teams to validate application performance and compliance post-migration.
- Monitor cloud environments and implement logging, alerting, and cost optimization practices.
- Maintain and apply OS patches as needed.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for cloud infrastructure incidents, configuration management, and system outages.
- Support ATO/Continuous Monitoring efforts including documentation, vulnerability remediation, and audit preparation.
- Integrate secure authentication/authorization services (CAC, SSO, OpenID, IAM roles).
- Participate in Agile or SAFe sprint cycles, release planning, and technical team stand-ups.
- Maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams for operational continuity.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a public trust clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years’ IT experience in managing systems and operations
- 3+ years’ experience in cloud or systems engineering roles
- 2+ years’ hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
- IAT Level II (Security+ CE) required
- IAT Level III (CISSP or Associate) preferred
- AWS certification and/or cloud certification required
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional preferred
- AWS SysOps Administrator or DevOps Engineer preferred
