The Clinical Training & Development Manager is tasked with ensuring clinical training initiatives are performed well and timely, improving training content and materials, and resolving organizational challenges related to implementation. This role reports to the Senior Director of Clinical Training & Development and collaborates closely with the clinical operations staff and other key stakeholders. As a leader in our Clinical Training function, you will assist in identifying the organization’s training needs, create & deliver training content and ensure the organization regularly assesses the effectiveness of training programs and makes data driven adjustments as needed.
Essential Functions/Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive training and instructional content that aligns with Children’s Specialized ABA clinical standards & clinical policies.
- Lead the delivery of clinical training programs for new hires and existing staff.
- Provide hands-on training sessions that ensure staff understand and can apply clinical principles in practice until the organization necessitates additional trainers.
- Select & train additional hands-on trainers as organizational needs expand.
- Ensure hands-on trainers maintain the integrity & quality of the trainings programs by conducting regular audits and feedback sessions.
- Implement and oversee systems to assess the effectiveness and fidelity of training programs, inclusive of social validity measures, trainee experience/feedback, etc.
- Â Partner with regional leadership to ensure the efficacy of training programs have been adapted to meet the clinical standards and needs of that region.
- Remain up to date with latest trends, research, and best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis, as well as in leadership, learning and organizational development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, education, or related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst( BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
- 3+ years of experience working in the ABA field.
- Experience with delivering engaging content.
- Experience with maintaining and updating course materials within an LMS, tracking progress & generating reports on training completion & engagement.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint to create engaging, well-structured presentations & training materials.
- Solid working knowledge of other Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage documentation, data analysis and communication.

- Capable of motivating and guiding team members to meet training objectives and organizational goals. Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
