This individual will lead clinical operations during deployment—ensuring workflows, documentation, and patient care practices align with standards and support user adoption. They will provide hands-on end-user support and troubleshooting during go-live, act as a key liaison between clinical staff and technical teams to align system configurations with real-world practice, identify workflow gaps, and recommend improvements. This role also manages change and stakeholder engagement across deployment sites, ensuring operational readiness and a seamless transition.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Facilitate collaboration between VHA Council Management Team (CMT), EHRM-IO OFC CMIO/CNIO, Oracle Health, EHRM-IO Operations, EHRM-IO DCIO, EHRM-IO PCD, VHA RDM, and local sites</li><li>Support Informaticists and Solution Experts by providing administrative, strategic, and documentation support</li><li>Collaborate on ticket management activities, including logging, tracking, and updating tickets</li><li>Track and update change request tickets within multiple ticketing systems</li><li>Support the Office of Functional Champion Testing Team (OFCt) with testing activities</li><li>Monitor Oracle Health activities to ensure alignment with scope and schedule</li><li>Provide project management support including execution of business processes, review of briefing materials, and risk management activities</li></ul><p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of professional work experience</li><li>Knowledge of Cerner Referral Management and Community Care solution configuration</li><li>Experience managing Information Technology-related projects</li><li>Proficiency in life cycle and project management methodologies</li><li>Demonstrated experience in tracking project costs, schedules, and performance progress</li><li>Strong ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline</li><ul><li>(An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)</li></ul></ul><p><strong>Additional Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working with the VA</li><li>Experience implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR)</li><li>Experience with Cerner Millennium (2018 code levels or higher)</li><li>Knowledge of Cerner Model recommendations</li><li>Proven ability to work independently in developing and enhancing clinical software solutions</li><li>Experience in analyzing and developing current and future-state clinical workflows</li><li>Expertise in functional validation and end-user testing for EHR and integrated third-party solutions</li><li>Experience leveraging ServiceNow for ticketing, reporting, and solution customization</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, analysis, and organizational skills</li></ul><p><strong>Eligibility:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis</li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><p>Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the candidate’s specific combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.</p><p><strong>Salary range:</strong> $115,000 – $130,000 annually</p><p>Blue Water Thinking offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, federal holidays, and a matching 401K plan.<br><br></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Our Commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity.</strong></p><p>Blue Water Thinking, LLC (BWT) is committed to equal employment opportunity.
