We are seeking a Clinical Strategy Lead to join Commure. This role serves as the clinical connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and strategic customer accounts, ensuring our solutions are clinically credible, operationally aligned, and positioned to drive measurable value for customers.
The Clinical Strategy Lead partners closely with Product and Engineering to shape workflows, validate requirements, and accelerate development of clinically sound solutions across the Commure portfolio. This person also works directly with executive and clinical stakeholders at leading health systems to translate frontline needs into product direction, adoption strategy, and account growth opportunities.
In parallel, this role plays a key part in go-to-market execution by helping teams clearly articulate clinical value, strengthen workflow alignment during demos and discovery, and support successful rollout and adoption. The ideal candidate combines deep clinical experience with strong strategic judgment, cross-functional influence, and the ability to operate effectively across customer-facing and internal teams.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to define, validate, and refine clinical workflows across key solutions, including Ambient, Ambient+, and AC+
Provide hands-on clinical guidance throughout the product lifecycle to improve usability, documentation quality, workflow fit, and end-user adoption
Serve as a clinical advisor to strategic health system accounts, supporting executive-level conversations with physician, nursing, operational, and administrative leaders
Translate customer feedback, frontline workflow realities, and implementation learnings into actionable product, adoption, and account strategy recommendations
Support Sales and Growth teams in discovery calls, demos, pilots, onsite meetings, and executive presentations by validating workflow fit and clearly articulating clinical value
Strengthen go-to-market execution by refining messaging, informing sales strategy, and equipping internal teams with clinically grounded insights
Develop and maintain deep expertise across the Athelas and Commure portfolio, including current offerings and newly released products
Understand and communicate the clinical use cases, operational implications, and desired outcomes associated with each solution
Train Sales, Operations, Implementation, and other internal teams on products, workflows, use cases, and customer-specific value propositions, including new hire and new product training
Collaborate with Product and Operations to develop effective training materials, enablement content, and workflow guidance
Support customer education for larger implementations in partnership with implementation and operational teams
Stay current on developments in AI, ambient documentation, NLP, medical coding, and healthcare technology to help inform product strategy, training, and workflow design
Required: Current or prior clinical licensure or certification such as MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, PT, or OT
Meaningful experience practicing in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong ability to build credibility and maintain relationships across clinical, commercial, product, and operational stakeholders
Experience working effectively across multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills across executive, clinical, sales, marketing, and operations audiences
High degree of flexibility, professionalism, creativity, and accountability
Working familiarity with AI-enabled healthcare technologies, ambient documentation, or natural language processing concepts
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Willingness to travel up to 30%
