About the Role
As a Clinical Recruiter at Wheel, you will play a key role in growing and supporting our clinician network of fractional physicians and nurses nationwide. Your efforts will directly impact our mission to put clinicians first, ensuring they have an exceptional experience at the start of their journey with us. You will collaborate with the Credentialing, Onboarding, Clinical & Marketplace team members, optimize supply funnel processes, and drive key recruitment and engagement strategies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Source and interview clinicians, ensuring a seamless and exceptional recruitment process.

  • Manage the clinical recruiting budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet hiring goals while optimizing cost-effectiveness.

  • Partner with the Marketplace Ops team to strategically prioritize recruitment efforts toward high-need state licenses, clinician types, and specialties.

  • Identify and implement process improvements across the clinical recruitment life cycle to enhance efficiency and throughput.

  • Build strong relationships with clinicians to foster long-term engagement and retention, maintaining professional and reliable communication.

  • Analyze and report key hiring metrics to evaluate the success of sourcing strategies and inform data-driven decisions.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

  • 4-6+ years of experience in healthcare recruitment or clinical staffing.

  • Proven success in sourcing and hiring healthcare professionals (e.g., nurses, physicians, registered dietitians).

  • Familiarity with healthcare settings, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific hiring challenges.

  • Proficiency with Fountain, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter and additional candidate sourcing platforms preferred.

  • Self starter and strong ability to manage well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of effective hiring best practices.

  • Creative sourcing strategies and solutions to find Clinicians nationwide.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

Salary and Perks

Pay Range: $97,000 - $138,000 base compensation.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
