Kentro is hiring a Clinical Project Manager to join our diverse team of technical professionals. In this role, you will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in the Office of Clinical Informatics by enhancing and standardizing clinical workflows, identifying and resolving clinical and operational inefficiencies, and delivering effective products and solutions to the VA Enterprise to improve healthcare delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple initiatives using agile methodologies, defining impact metrics such as leading and lagging indicators, OKRs, and KPIs, and effectively communicating with stakeholders, Business Owners, and executive leadership. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for creating lean business cases and feature canvases, as outlined in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and will collaborate with the Product Manager and Release Train Engineer as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze data related to the product or solution being developed.
  • Develop lean business cases and solutions to address clinical needs with input from stakeholders and business owners across the VA Enterprise.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the Integrated Health Practice Agile Release Train, facilitating communication and resolving any issues during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare reports for management and stakeholders, summarizing progress, challenges, and impact measures.

Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Pacific Time working hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Nursing or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in defining and delivering solutions to resolve operational issues and clinical workflows in a large healthcare environment
  • Skilled in creating writing lean business cases, PowerBI dashboards, MS Excel, SharePoint, SharePoint Lists, Managing MS Teams groups, reporting, and analytics tools, and have the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership.
  • Experience in Oracle Health EHR from a technical and clinical perspective
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-versed in agile development methodologies
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, methodologies (e.g. SAFe, BPM+) quickly and have the ability to be flexible in work assignments, responsibilities, and changing priorities
  • Experience managing HealthIT related projects
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating risks
  • Experience developing and managing requirements for healthcare software products
  • Experience interfacing directly with clients

Preferred:

  • SharePoint development experience
  • PowerApps experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification

Clearance requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
