Clinical & Medical Science Liaison (CMSL)

Location:  This position may be performed remotely with the required ability to travel up to 60–80%, as needed.The OpportunityPraxis is seeking a field based Clinical & Medical Science Liaison who is a scientific and clinical expert that will be responsible for supporting clinical trial execution through collaboration with investigative sites, clinical research staff, and internal cross-functional teams. The CMSL ensures clinical trial sites are well-informed about Praxis’ therapeutic areas of interest, engaged, and supported to optimize patient enrollment and protocol adherence. Primary Responsibilities<ul><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Serves as a primary scientific and operational point of contact for Praxis clinical trial sites, in coordination with Clinical Operations and CRO partners.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Delivers protocol and investigative product training to site personnel to ensure high-quality study conduct, ensuring a thorough understanding of the investigational product, and study specific protocols, goals and expectations.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Identifies and helps resolve site-level issues related to patient recruitment and retention.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Represents the company in medical scientific congresses and conferences.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Creates and supports investigator engagement plans, contributing to the development and execution of strategic outreach to key sites and site staff.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Identifies new clinical trial sites, referring satellite sites and work with established sites to accelerate enrollment of subjects.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Stays current on therapeutic areas of interest for the company and competing development programs.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Supports adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and Company Policies and Standard Operation procedures (SOPs)</li></ul> Qualifications and Key Success Factors<ul><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience supporting Neurology phase 2/3 clinical development programs and/or commercialized products is required.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or RN with relevant experience) preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field required.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical research or clinical trial field experience (e.g., CTL, CRA, MSL, clinical educator, or study coordinator).</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrates a high level of intellectual curiosity, innovation and creative problem solving with an entrepreneurial spirit; can thrive in an agile environment.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop important relationships that include trust and encourage diversity in all its forms.</li><li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion to deliver quality results.</li></ul>The physical and mental requirements of our roles include but are not limited to regular use of a computer, devices or other office equipment, clear communication, and occasional movement.  You'll need comfort with screen work, basic hand coordination, and focus.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.Compensation & BenefitsAt Praxis, we believe that taking care of our people (and their people) is important, so we provide a world class benefits package to help you thrive.  This includes 99% of the premium paid for medical, dental and vision plans.  We also provide company-paid life insurance, AD&D, disability benefits, and voluntary plans to personalize your coverage. Thinking about the future?
