JOB SUMMARY

Provide comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy and coordinates associated dosimetry plan procedures with members of the Radiation Oncology Team. Dosimetrist has knowledge of the overall characteristics of radiation oncology treatment and imaging equipment and is cognizant of and maintains proficiency in modern treatment planning and delivery procedures used in the Radiation Oncology, including, but not limited to 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SRS/SBRT.

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

*Up to $10,000 Sign on bonus


Type: Full-time, 80 hours per 2 week pay period

Typical hours: Monday-Friday, Remote opportunity available. Onsite orientation may be required.

Will ONLY consider candidates from the following states: MO, IL, TN, AR

Education:

Must be a graduate of a formally organized hospital or college radiation oncology and/or medical dosimetry program with clinical and classroom curriculum.

Certification & Licensures:

Certified Dosimetrist within 2 years of graduation from an approved radiation oncology or dosimetry program        

Experience:

Must be able to understand the technical aspects of radiation oncology and medical physics to derive computerized treatment plans, and communicate these aspects to the Radiation Oncologist for plan approval and to the Radiation Therapist for plan implementation.

Saint Francis Healthcare System is committed to a compensation philosophy that aligns to the fiftieth percentile of the marketplace, while also crediting applicable and/or relevant work experience when computing compensation offers for selected candidates. Minimum hourly rate: $50.84
