Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, providing a welcoming experience for patients.
  • Assist patients in scheduling appointments, managing cancellations, and rescheduling as needed.
  • Provide accurate information regarding services, billing, and medical records to patients and their families.
  • Resolve patient inquiries and concerns effectively while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Document all interactions with patients in the system accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure that patient needs are met and follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Promote patient education and awareness regarding available services and healthcare information.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or medical office setting is preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a clear and friendly phone demeanor.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and care.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software, particularly in data entry and management.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
