The Business Operations & Systems Analyst strengthens the systems, data, processes, and cross-functional coordination that enables the company to operate efficiently and scale without operational instability in an environment where processes are still being defined and improved. This is an entry-level individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Operations and operating with guidance, while requiring comfort navigating ambiguity and change in a growing organization.
Systems & Business Applications (~30%)
- Support implementation and administer core business systems on a day-to-day basis, including ERP and other Operations-owned applications.
- Oversee user requirements, access, workflows, and configuration hygiene to maintain system integrity and appropriate controls.
- Triage system- and process-related issues, coordinating resolution across internal teams and external partners.
- Develop and deliver training, documentation, and change communications to support system and process adoption across teams.
Supply Chain & Manufacturing Enablement (~30%)
- Support the supply chain planning cadence and tools to enable effective coordination across partners.
- Ensure accurate and timely data and information flows between co-manufacturers, service providers, Sales, Marketing and Finance.
- Coordinate sourcing activities for brand-owned materials, ensuring alignment with specifications, lead times, and operational requirements.
- Support new product development activities, including validating data/information standards and coordination handoffs between internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g. material suppliers, service providers/agencies).
- Act as the primary point of contact for Operations-related customer inquiries (e.g., product, supply chain, orders).
- Manage communication and issue resolution to ensure supply chain readiness for the direct-to-consumer program.
Continuous Improvement & Data Management (~20%)
- Ensure operational data integrity across systems, reports, and processes.
- Produce and maintain recurring operational reports to support visibility and continuous improvement.
- Track recurring issues and facilitate root-cause analysis to reduce repeat problems and operational drag in processes, systems, or communication.
- Maintain and update SOPs, standards, and process documentation to support scalability and consistency.
Project Management (~20%)
· Lead small-scale operational projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning through execution and close-out.
· Serve as a key Operations stakeholder on larger, cross-functional initiatives, representing system, data, and process requirements and ensuring operational readiness.
Requirements
· 1–4 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or related roles
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems/Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Strong systems thinking and process orientation, with the ability to understand how data, tools, and workflows connect across end user requirements.
- Demonstrated experience administering business systems such as ERP platforms and operational tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; experience ensuring data integrity, building/maintaining reports, and using data to identify operational patterns and issues.
- Knowledge of standard project management principles and usage of project management methodologies, formal or informal.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments typical of early-stage or scaling organizations.
- Ability to travel up to 15%, including overnight trips.
