In this role, you will transform complex educational and product data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions and improve digital learning experiences. You will work at the intersection of data, product, and education, helping teams understand how users interact with learning content and identifying opportunities to enhance engagement and outcomes. Operating in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, you will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical solutions. Your work will directly influence product direction, performance measurement, and innovation in the EdTech space. You will also contribute to building dashboards, reports, and analytical models that simplify data for decision-making. Accountabilities:- Design, build, and maintain BI solutions focused on educational performance, content engagement, and operational efficiency across digital learning products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define analytics requirements and translate business questions into structured analytical projects.
- Develop and manage dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) that track key KPIs, trends, and product performance metrics.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on student behavior, curriculum effectiveness, and market trends to identify opportunities for product and service improvements.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate data insights into product development and feature optimization.
- Apply advanced BI techniques, including LookML and data modeling, to deliver scalable and actionable insights.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably within EdTech, education, or digital learning environments.
- Strong proficiency in BI and data tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, and advanced SQL, with additional experience in Python or R being a plus.
- Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, KPI development, and dashboard design for business decision-making.
- Familiarity with the education sector, including learning systems, content delivery models, and industry challenges.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset for solving data-driven problems.
