About the role

We’re growing our Sales team to accelerate the adoption of our resident insurance compliance programs. We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to expand our client base of Multifamily Property Owners and Managers.

As our BDR, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving pipeline growth and shaping the future of our sales strategy. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll strategically prospect, qualify leads, and schedule meetings to generate high-quality opportunities for our team.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, growth-focused company where your contributions will directly impact our success, while providing ample room for professional growth.

What you'll do

  • Generate net new sales pipeline to support the Sales team’s growth objectives.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) through various lead sources, including LinkedIn, company websites, and more.
  • Drive engagement and schedule meetings with prospects using multi-channel outbound campaigns (cold and warm calls, email, social outreach, and in-person events).
  • Engage with executives and leadership teams of prospective clients to understand their needs and position our solutions effectively.
  • Focus on measurable outcomes, such as the volume of qualified leads handed off to Sales and conversion rates.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outbound B2B sales, with a track record of success in lead generation and prospect qualification.
  • Resilient and confident in overcoming objections and handling rejection, maintaining persistence and a positive attitude while following up with leads.
  • Highly self-motivated and independent, with the ability to work autonomously, stay focused, and meet sales targets. Skilled in managing a high volume of leads, prioritizing outreach, and staying organized in a remote environment.
  • Innovative and adaptable, eager to build, test, and refine sales strategies to align with company objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both externally with clients and internally with team members.
  • Goal-driven and energetic, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure and with a sense of urgency.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales enablement tools, email automation, and virtual communication platforms like Zoom and Slack.
  • College Degree
  • 3 years of B2B experience
