Business Development Representative

This role supports a high-performing Business Development team within a complex, mission-driven environment focused on advanced defense and technology solutions. You will contribute to the operational backbone of the BD organization by managing pipeline data, supporting Salesforce processes, and ensuring accurate reporting across business units. The position plays a key role in maintaining visibility into opportunities, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. You will collaborate closely with geographically distributed teams to coordinate deliverables, track progress, and ensure alignment across stakeholders. The role also involves supporting budgeting and administrative processes that keep business development activities running smoothly. This is a highly detail-oriented and coordination-heavy position where accuracy, communication, and structure are essential. You will operate in a fast-paced environment where your work directly supports strategic growth execution.

Accountabilities:

Maintain and update accurate pipeline data across Salesforce in collaboration with business units
Support the creation and maintenance of Salesforce reports, dashboards, and data tools for the BD team
Coordinate and manage business development deliverables for corporate, sector, and division-level reporting requirements
Communicate with BD stakeholders to track meetings, reviews, deadlines, and key deliverables
Assist with budget-related processes including invoice tracking, internal coordination, and IWO support
Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives across business development operations
Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems used for forecasting and reporting
Support cross-functional coordination across distributed teams to maintain operational alignment

Requirements:

6+ years of relevant professional experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 2+ years of experience
Strong experience working with Salesforce as a user, administrator, or advanced support role
Excellent organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across remote and distributed teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, structured environment
Experience supporting reporting, data tracking, or business operations functions
Strong analytical mindset with ability to work with structured data and reporting tools
Adaptability to changing priorities and evolving business requirements
U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain a Secret clearance
