We’re looking for a driven, creative, and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to help us scale two core growth engines: our direct advertising business and a new wave of strategic partnerships with gaming-adjacent brands and platforms.

This is a hybrid role — part outbound seller, part early-stage partnerships architect, and part account manager. In the short term, you'll be researching, identifying and qualifying leads for our advertising business. Over time, you'll help define how WeMod engages with brands beyond advertising: co-branded content, in-app integrations, platform collaborations, and other long-term commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities

Sales Development & Advertising Growth

  • Identify, research, and engage high-potential brands across gaming, consumer tech, entertainment, and lifestyle categories.

  • Own top-of-funnel outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels using tools like Apollo and Sales Navigator.

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, schedule intro calls, and support proposal development with the Brand Partnerships Manager.

  • Maintain up-to-date records in our CRM and contribute to campaign performance wrap-ups.

Client Success & Campaign Coordination

  • Assist with live campaign oversight, working closely with our programmatic ads team and creative team to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Communicate with clients to share performance data, answer questions, and surface upsell opportunities.

  • Help synthesize insights from completed campaigns into actionable reporting for clients and internal use.

Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Expansion

  • Explore non-traditional partnership models — from co-marketing activations to embedded content or feature-level integrations.

  • Help shape early go-to-market strategies working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and leadership to surface and pursue high-upside relationship opportunities.

  • Track market trends and identify whitespace where WeMod can provide unique value to partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Proven success in a sales development or outbound hunter sales role (1-3 years of relevant experience)

  • Willingness and aptitude to learn digital advertising campaign management (Google Ads Manager, Wrap Reports, Adtech measurement).

  • Proficiency in outreach, CRM and productivity tools commonly used by SDRs (e.g., SalesLoft, Outreach, Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc).

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.

  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

  • Passion for or familiarity with PC gaming culture and audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of digital marketing analytics and reporting

  • Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships.

  • Familiarity with ad operations, performance metrics, or media planning.
