This is a senior strategic sales leadership role focused on driving global account growth within a structured enterprise program. The position is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-potential clients and shaping long-term, scalable account strategies across multiple regions. It sits at the intersection of business development, strategic consulting, and global account management, requiring strong executive presence and cross-functional leadership. The role partners closely with account managers, regional leaders, and subject matter experts to align global resources and accelerate revenue growth. It is highly visible within the organization and plays a key role in expanding strategic client relationships and improving win rates on complex global opportunities. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational rigor, and hands-on leadership in a matrixed environment.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead and grow a portfolio of strategic developmental accounts, driving structured growth planning and execution across global clients.
  • Develop and implement account strategies in collaboration with account managers, aligning client objectives with revenue and profitability targets.
  • Apply strategic account management frameworks to position the organization as a trusted advisor and long-term partner.
  • Coordinate cross-regional teams and global resources to ensure consistent execution and seamless client delivery.
  • Oversee pipeline health, forecasting, and performance tracking to identify risks, opportunities, and revenue expansion potential.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and executive-level client engagements to strengthen relationships and drive account growth.
  • Support complex global RFPs and pursuit strategies, improving win rates through structured planning and execution.
  • Ensure adherence to global account methodologies, tools, and governance standards, including CRM-based account planning systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, business development, or sales leadership roles.
  • Strong background in managing complex, multi-region or global accounts in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience in technology, AV solutions, systems integration, or professional services industries strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale account strategies, RFP processes, and executive-level client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of strategic account management frameworks (SAMA experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with strong executive presence.
  • Ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM and account planning tools (e.g., Valkre or similar platforms).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
