We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Business Analyst (BA) who excels at writing requirements, scoping work for SQL developers, and managing data products hosted on Snowflake. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring seamless delivery of data solutions that drive critical insights for our clients.
As a Business Analyst with expertise in Snowflake and SQL, you will define, document, and communicate requirements while facilitating collaboration between stakeholders, developers, and project teams. Your ability to translate complex business processes into technical specifications will help Broadridge continue delivering exceptional value through data innovation.

Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for data products, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business goals.
  • Translate business needs into clear, concise functional and technical specifications for SQL developers for Data modeling.
  • Scope and manage work for SQL developers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet established requirements.
  • Conduct workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, identify gaps, and resolve ambiguities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including use cases, process flows, and data mappings, to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure mutual understanding, resolving roadblocks and ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of delivered data products, gathering feedback for continuous improvement and recommending enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Required - 5-7 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in a data-driven environment, in the financial services industry. Knowledge of financial products (Mutual funds, ETFs etc) is a plus. 
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, including querying, and working with relational databases.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies or experience working in Agile development teams is preferred. Experience with JIRA is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hourly range $60-70/hr
