Accountabilities:

Record, classify, and maintain all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payment schedules, collections, and vendor coordination.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, and merchant accounts on a monthly basis.
Prepare and maintain ledgers, balance sheets, income statements, profit and loss reports, and other financial documentation.
Support payroll processing, reimbursements, employee expenses, and contractor payments.
Provide leadership with clear reporting on cash flow, financial performance, and operational metrics.
Coordinate with external accountants and prepare organized financial records for tax filings and compliance needs.
Identify discrepancies, financial risks, or process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions proactively.

Requirements:

Proven professional experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar finance role.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Sheets.
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, financial reporting, and billing processes.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and timely recordkeeping.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with leadership and stakeholders.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
