We are seeking a reliable Remote Bookkeeper to support ongoing bookkeeping needs for several U.S. small and mid-sized businesses. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple clients, and handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks.

Key Duties

  • Maintain accurate books for multiple client accounts
  • Enter and classify financial transactions
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly close and basic financial statements
  • Communicate with clients as needed regarding bookkeeping matters

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
  • Practical experience with QuickBooks and Excel
  • Comfortable working in a remote setup, including use of secure access tools (VPN, RDP, similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads with minimal supervision
  • Solid understanding of AP, AR, and general ledger processes
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Selection Process

As part of the selection process, candidates may be asked to complete a short practical assignment related to remote work and bookkeeping tasks.
