This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and scalability of core billing systems that support subscription-based revenue operations. You will manage and optimize platforms such as Zuora and Stripe, ensuring seamless end-to-end billing processes across subscriptions, invoicing, payments, and financial reporting. Acting as a key bridge between Finance, Engineering, and Operations, you will help design and maintain integrations that connect billing systems with CRM and internal tools. The position requires strong technical fluency combined with a solid understanding of financial workflows and data integrity. You will also play a key role in automation initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce operational friction. This is a highly collaborative role in a fast-growing environment where system reliability directly impacts business performance.
Accountabilities:- Own the configuration, administration, and optimization of billing platforms including Zuora and Stripe
- Manage subscription lifecycle processes including pricing, invoicing, payments, and revenue workflows
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across billing systems, supporting financial reporting and month-end close activities
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between billing platforms, Salesforce, and internal applications
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve data or integration discrepancies
- Manage environments, system configurations, and user access across multiple operational teams
- Drive automation and process optimization using tools such as Workato to streamline billing operations
- Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Operations to support system enhancements, migrations, and scalable solutions
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience administering billing systems such as Zuora, Stripe, or similar subscription platforms
- Strong understanding of subscription billing concepts including pricing models, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition
- Experience building integrations between billing systems, Salesforce, and internal tools or applications
- Hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, and middleware/automation tools (e.g., Workato, Zapier, MuleSoft)
- Strong analytical and business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and solution design
- Experience supporting financial operations such as billing cycles, reconciliations, and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in complex system environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and operational efficiency is a plus
