  • Review incoming correspondence and follow up on outstanding billing or claim-related issues.
  • Support insurance follow-up activities, including Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and managed care claims.
  • Maintain accurate records while meeting organizational, regulatory, and performance standards.
  • Contribute to additional billing and revenue cycle tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in hospital billing or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
  • Experience with insurance follow-up processes and payer systems (Medicare, Medicaid, managed care).
  • Familiarity with hospital operations, provider relations, or compliance environments preferred.
  • Experience with Epic or similar healthcare billing systems is a plus.
  • Exposure to home health billing or hospital-based billing workflows preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in high-volume environments.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while remaining adaptable to onsite needs when required.
  • Curiosity and openness to process improvement and new technologies, including AI-driven tools.
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification required within 9 months (company-sponsored).

Benefits:

  • Starting pay of 17 USD per hour, with final compensation based on experience.
  • Bonus incentive opportunities and performance-based recognition programs.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage and employee benefits package.
  • Paid certification programs and tuition reimbursement support.
  • Career advancement opportunities within a growing healthcare revenue cycle organization.
  • Remote work flexibility with occasional onsite requirements as needed.
  • Access to structured training, professional development, and certification pathways.
  • Inclusive, people-first culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
