This individual will work with both adolescents and adult clients in the intake capacity.</strong></p><p><strong>Must be Bilingual, English/Spanish</strong></p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Summary: </strong></span></p><p>The Intake Therapist plays a vital role in Guidelight Health’s mission to provide compassionate, individualized mental health care. As the first point of contact for potential new clients, you will conduct in-depth biopsychosocial assessments to understand their unique needs of each client, guiding them to the right level of care. Through thoughtful evaluation and communication, you will facilitate a seamless transition into treatment, setting the foundation for meaningful progress. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the clinical team, communicating relevant information about new admissions and ensuring seamless coordination.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li>Conduct thorough biopsychosocial intake assessments to evaluate client needs, strengths, and<br>readiness for treatment.</li><li>Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, creating a welcoming and supportive<br>introduction to Guidelight Health.</li><li>Determine the most appropriate level of care for each client, ensuring alignment with their<br>clinical needs and treatment goals.</li><li>Clearly and compassionately communicate program expectations, treatment options, and next<br>steps to clients and their families.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the clinical treatment team, providing detailed assessment findings to<br>support individualized care planning.</li><li>Identify potential barriers to treatment engagement and work with clients and families to<br>address concerns.</li><li>Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all assessments, recommendations,<br>and communications.</li><li>Stay informed on best practices in intake assessment and client engagement to continuously<br>enhance the admissions process.</li></ul><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li>Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or<br>related field.</li><li>Valid state licensure in North Carolina or license eligible (Masters, LCMHC, LCSW).</li><li>Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling.</li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to use various software<br>programs.</li></ul><p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$70,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$95,000 USD</span></div></div></div>
