About the role: We are looking for a collaborative Big Data Developer to help build and roll out multiple Risk Scoring based applications. You will be working within our advanced Big Data Tech Stack including Java, Python, and SQL Spark, Hadoop, Hive, DynamoDB, RedShift, Athena, Kinesis, data lake, Iceberg, Hudi, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, NoSQL, Parquet, Avro, graph databases

About the team: This collaborative, diverse group of Big Data Developers are building the next generation, best in show Risk Scoring applications for customers in multiple business verticals.

Requirements

• Current and extensive development experience and expertise with similar tools; Java, Python, and SQL Spark, Hadoop, Hive, DynamoDB, RedShift, Athena, Kinesis, data lake, Iceberg, Hudi, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, NoSQL, Parquet, Avro, graph databases.

• Familiarity of industry best practices — code coverage.

• Demonstrated proficiency with data manipulation languages.

• Knowledge and experience of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

• Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity

Responsibilities.

• Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.

• Collaborate closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.

• Thrive within our advanced Big Data Tech Stack and be open learning and using new technologies.

• Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.

• Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.

• Resolve technical issues as necessary

Position is eligible for base salary plus an annual bonus.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Hawaii and Colorado: $75,700-126,100 USD

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Maryland and Washington: $79,500-132,400 USD

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California and Washington DC: $87,100 - 145,000 USD

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for New York and New Jersey: $83,300 - 138,700 USD
