Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain server-side applications and services.
  • Design and optimize database schemas and queries for efficiency and scalability.
  • Create and manage APIs for front-end consumption and external integrations.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance functionality and performance.
  • Implement security protocols and data protection measures.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to apply best practices in development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Back-end Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Understanding of server, networking, and hosting environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
