This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Azure DevOps Architect (remote) in United States.

This role offers a chance to lead the design, deployment, and automation of complex cloud infrastructure in a highly dynamic environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of architects, engineers, and product managers to ensure highly available, secure, and scalable platforms. The position involves driving DevOps best practices, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and proactive monitoring to maintain optimal system performance. You will influence architectural decisions, optimize cloud resource usage, and implement automation that enhances reliability and efficiency. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing autonomy while collaborating with top technical talent to deliver cutting-edge cloud solutions.


  • Accountabilities
  • Architect and automate cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, ARM, Helm, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Design scalable, highly available solutions across Azure environments and deploy/manage services on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), VNets, VMs, ACR, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Event Grid, and other Azure resources.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and implement GitOps workflows using GitHub or Azure DevOps.
  • Support Linux and Windows environments, leveraging Bash and PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Enforce cybersecurity best practices, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with architects and product owners to define deployment strategies and operationalize solutions.
  • Document architecture, runbooks, deployment instructions, and proof-of-concept evaluations for team reference.
  • Promote DevOps principles including automation, infrastructure-as-code, continuous improvement, and team collaboration.

  • Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps roles.
  • 5+ years of Azure experience with core services and deploying complex systems.
  • 4+ years managing IaC tools (Terraform, ARM, Helm), Git workflows, and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Strong Linux (4+ years) and Windows (2+ years) system administration experience.
  • Proficiency with GitOps tools like ArgoCD, scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
  • Solid networking knowledge, including CIDR, subnets, NSG, VPNs, DNS, TCP/UDP, TLS, PKI, firewalls, proxies, API gateways, NAT, IPv6.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, cloud resource cost optimization, and observability platforms.
  • Preferred: Kubernetes Operators, video streaming protocols (WebRTC, HLS, RTMP, RTSP, CDN), IoT protocols (MQTT, AMQP), and relevant certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, or security.
