In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing advanced marketing and sales automation systems that drive lead generation, conversion, and customer engagement. You will work within GoHighLevel to build scalable workflows, funnels, and CRM automations that improve end-to-end customer journeys. Your work will directly impact how efficiently leads are captured, nurtured, and converted across multiple digital channels. This is a highly technical, client-facing position where you will collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to translate business needs into automated solutions. You will operate in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where autonomy, precision, and continuous optimization are key. The role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, CRM systems, and performance-driven marketing technology.


Accountabilities

You will design, implement, and optimize end-to-end automation systems within GoHighLevel, ensuring seamless lead management and high-performing customer journeys. You will build scalable workflows, integrate third-party tools, and continuously improve conversion performance across funnels and campaigns. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation strategies with business objectives while ensuring system reliability and efficiency.

  • Design and build advanced workflows, triggers, and automation sequences in GoHighLevel
  • Develop and optimize sales funnels, landing pages, and CRM pipelines
  • Integrate GoHighLevel with external tools such as Zapier, APIs, and webhooks
  • Implement lead scoring, segmentation, and automated nurturing campaigns
  • Automate email, SMS, and follow-up communication workflows
  • Monitor automation performance and optimize conversion rates continuously
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth automation system operations
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align automation strategies with goals
  • Document workflows and build scalable automation frameworks

Requirements

This role requires strong hands-on experience in GoHighLevel or similar CRM automation platforms, combined with a solid understanding of marketing automation and funnel optimization. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote, client-facing environment, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Experience in digital marketing environments and automation integrations is highly valued.

  • 2+ years of experience using GoHighLevel or comparable CRM automation tools
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, sales funnels, and lead generation strategies
  • Experience with integrations using Zapier, APIs, and webhooks
  • Familiarity with email and SMS marketing automation systems
  • Experience working with CRM systems and pipeline management
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Experience in SaaS or digital marketing agency environments is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or funnel customization is beneficial
