This role provides a critical opportunity to ensure the quality, accuracy, and clinical impact of AI-driven radiation oncology software. You will oversee verification, validation, and testing processes to guarantee that AI-generated contours meet the highest standards for patient care. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Regulatory, and Support teams, you will influence product safety and reliability while supporting clinical teams worldwide. The position requires a detail-oriented, systematic approach, strong clinical expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will contribute to documentation, regulatory compliance, and process improvements that directly impact patient outcomes. This role blends clinical knowledge, technical skills, and leadership in a mission-driven, fully remote environment.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead testing, verification, and validation of AutoContour software prior to release to ensure performance, reliability, and clinical safety.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to provide actionable feedback and resolve issues.
  • Generate and maintain high-quality documentation, including regulatory and product-related materials.
  • Prepare Medical Device documentation in coordination with the Regulatory team, including defining requirements, test conditions, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support the deployment and setup of AutoContour in clinical environments, providing guidance to users and internal teams.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance QA efficiency, consistency, and compliance with standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a clinical medical physicist or dosimetrist.
  • Proven experience in software validation and verification.
  • Programming experience in C# or similar coding environments.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain a positive, mission-driven attitude.
  • Experience implementing relevant AAPM Task Group reports related to contouring and image registration.
  • Preferred: Clinical experience with AutoContour or similar software, knowledge of rigid and deformable registration, familiarity with multiple treatment planning systems, and prior product testing experience.
