As an Associate Supply Chain Procurement Specialist – Level 1, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is FT remote but needs to be located near a NG Space site – Redondo Beach, CA, Chandler, AZ or Baltimore, MD.

Job Duties:

  • Sources and procures items within the mechanical commodities, of medium to high complexity

  • Initiates requests for quotations and proposals and receives same, analyzing proposed pricing from potential suppliers, for purchase order awards

  • Works with internal customers to ensure specifications are appropriate for the services or products required

  • Manages performance of purchase orders, ensures compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures including import/export regulations

  • Reviews and approves supplier payment as needed

In this job, you will:

  • Develop RFQ utilizing specifications, statements of work, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, components, assemblies and services

  • Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, planning, operations, program and end-users

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in lieu of degree an additional 4 + years of professional experience will be considered

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovation behaviors in past projects, roles or experience.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to keep multiple priorities moving forward.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a MRP system, SAP, CostPoint

  • Experience procuring in an engineering development environment

  • Basic comprehension of technical drawings and documents

  • Knowledge of government contracting requirements and regulations

Primary Level Salary Range: $52,100.00 - $78,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
