Position Summary
The Associate Manager – EMR Specialist will support the planning, implementation, and scaling of Electronic Health Record Modernization across healthcare and public health settings. This role is well-suited for professionals with hands-on with EHR implementation, upgrade, or replacement projects, including integration with clinical workflows and other health systems.
Key DeliverablesÂ
Support the design and implementation of EHR and telehealth initiatives aligned with program goalsÂ
Contribute to workflow assessments and operational planning to integrate HER upgrades into care deliveryÂ
Coordinate with healthcare partners, vendors, and internal teams during implementation and scale-upÂ
Develop implementation documentation, tools, and guidance for program partnersÂ
Track implementation progress, challenges, and lessons learned to inform continuous improvementÂ
Contribute to knowledge-sharing and best practices related to digital health across programsÂ
Candidates should be based in Maine or willing to relocate. Relocation expenses will not be covered. Some travel within the State of Maine will be required.

Anticipated Salary: $65,000-$75,000
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, implementation, and scaling of Electronic Health Record Modernization across healthcare and public health settings.
Provide hands-on technical assistance with EHR implementation, upgrade, or replacement projects, including integration with clinical workflows and other health systems.
Core Compentencies
Strong knowledge of Electronic Health Record SystemsÂ
Ability to support implementation planning, workflow design, and operational roll-out of HER initiativesÂ
Project management skills, including coordinating timelines, stakeholders, and deliverablesÂ
Ability to translate technical concepts into practical guidance for clinical and program teamsÂ
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation, training materials, and stakeholder presentationsÂ
Comfort working with data to inform implementation, monitoring, and improvement effortsÂ
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Informatics, Nursing, Health Policy, Information Systems, or a related field required. Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH), Health Administration (MHA), Health Informatics, or a related discipline preferred but not a requirement.Â
Relevant professional experience working with rural or resource-constrained healthcare organizations.Â
4–6 years of progressively responsible experience in, healthcare operations, public health programs, or health technology implementation.
Demonstrated experience planning and implementing EHR initiatives within healthcare delivery systems, public health agencies, or community-based health organizationsÂ
Hands-on experience working with telehealth platforms, remote care technologies, or digital patient engagement toolsÂ
Strong understanding of clinical and operational workflows and how HER systems integrate into care deliveryÂ
Experience navigating EHR policy, reimbursement, and regulatory considerations, including payer requirements and state or federal guidanceÂ
Experience collaborating with clinical teams, IT staff, administrators, vendors, and external partnersÂ
Familiarity with healthcare delivery in rural or mixed urban–rural settings is highly desirable.
