It is ideal for a senior attorney who thrives in a generalist role and enjoys influencing strategic decisions at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide legal guidance on a broad range of commercial agreements, including drafting, reviewing, structuring, and negotiating contracts to balance business objectives and risk mitigation.
  • Support corporate and business strategy initiatives by delivering practical, solution-oriented legal advice across multiple functions.
  • Review and advise on marketing, advertising, and promotional materials to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and brand standards.
  • Oversee and manage global trademark portfolio activities, including clearance, registration, maintenance, and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams on intellectual property matters and coordinate with external patent counsel when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with evolving legal and regulatory frameworks, providing proactive guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and improve contract management processes, including lifecycle governance, documentation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve legal issues efficiently while supporting business goals and operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
  • 10+ years of legal experience, including significant in-house or law firm experience in commercial and corporate legal matters.
  • Strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, including familiarity with UCC principles and international commercial contract frameworks.
  • Experience advising on intellectual property, trademark management, and marketing or advertising compliance.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align legal strategy with organizational objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • High level of judgment, problem-solving ability, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, global environment.

Benefits:

  • Competitive monthly compensation with eligibility for bonus or incentive plans.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid time off, parental leave, and additional flexible benefits supporting work-life balance.
  • Mental health, wellness, and family-building support programs.
  • Employee discounts and community engagement opportunities.
  • Inclusive workplace culture focused on well-being, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Opportunities to work in a large-scale, global organization with broad cross-functional exposure.
