The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background in litigation and investigations, experience managing eDiscovery vendors and outside counsel, and a demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams to drive compliance and operational excellence.What will be your responsibilities within IBKR: eDiscovery Program Management<ul><li>Coordinate all aspects of eDiscovery work across the in-house legal team for litigations and investigations, including legal holds, document preservation, early case assessment, and document review.</li><li>Manage Outside Counsel and eDiscovery vendors to ensure consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across the firm’s case portfolio.</li><li>Internalize appropriate eDiscovery tasks and optimize workflows by ensuring responsibilities are effectively distributed among internal teams, law firms, and vendors.</li><li>Coordinate with internal counsel to manage data collections, apply search protocols, and oversee document review processes for internal investigations.</li><li>Develop and oversee eDiscovery budgets, implementing cost-control measures and optimizing resource allocation to ensure efficient spending and substantial cost savings in litigation and investigation processes.</li></ul>Technology Strategy & Innovation<ul><li>Stay current on eDiscovery technology advancements, including AI-driven tools such as Technology-Assisted Review (TAR) and GenAI for document review.</li><li>Recommend and implement new technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the eDiscovery process.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, including programmers, to develop and implement cost-effective, technology-driven eDiscovery solutions.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Act as a liaison with Compliance, IT, Records & Information Management, and Information Security to advise on initiatives with eDiscovery implications, such as AI governance, Mobile Device policies, cloud-based platforms, and defensible disposition strategies.</li><li>Partner with international legal teams to ensure adherence to global eDiscovery obligations, including GDPR compliance and other privacy regulations.</li><li>Work closely with cybersecurity and Information Security teams to manage incident response eDiscovery investigations.</li><li>Collaborate with procurement and compliance teams to develop and implement legal records frameworks for risk management, records assessment, and defensible disposition.</li><li>Lead initiatives to procure, implement, and maintain enterprise archiving solutions for e-communications, audio recordings, and other data sources.</li></ul>Program Development & Continuous Improvement<ul><li>Monitor industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes to assess their impact on the firm’s eDiscovery program.</li><li>Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, building partnerships across departments to advance eDiscovery and data governance goals.</li><li>Educate internal teams on eDiscovery best practices, legal obligations, and information governance requirements.</li></ul> To be successful in this position, you will have the following:<ul><li>Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.</li><li>Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skills</li><li>Outstanding organizational and time management skills</li></ul><h3>Company Benefits & Perks</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary, annual performance-based bonus and stock grant</li><li>Retirement plan 401(k) with a competitive company match</li><li>Excellent health and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, and a company-paid medical healthcare premium</li><li>Wellness screenings and assessments, health coaches and counseling services through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>Paid time off and a generous parental leave policy</li><li>Daily company lunch allowance provided, and a fully stocked kitchen with healthy options for breakfast and snack</li><li>Corporate events, including team outings, dinners, volunteer activities and company sports teams</li><li>Education reimbursement and learning opportunities</li><li>Modern offices with multi-monitor setups</li></ul>
