This role sits within a highly specialized government pricing function responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely reporting of regulated pharmaceutical pricing data across multiple U.S. federal and state programs. The Associate Director will oversee complex pricing calculations tied to Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, VA, and other government channels. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding regulatory compliance while supporting broader commercial and contracting strategies. It requires strong analytical expertise to interpret pricing impacts, variances, and evolving legislation. The environment is fast-paced, cross-functional, and highly collaborative, involving close partnership with finance, contracting, and commercial teams. This role offers high visibility, strategic influence, and direct impact on revenue integrity and regulatory adherence.


Accountabilities:
  • Calculate, validate, and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual government pricing reports across multiple federal and state programs.
  • Ensure full compliance with CMS, VA, DoD, 340B, Medicaid, Medicare Part B, FSS, TriCare, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor, interpret, and apply evolving legislation impacting government pricing methodologies and reporting obligations.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis, pricing research, and reconciliation activities including G/L reconciliations and Class of Trade reviews.
  • Review and approve pricing outputs with senior leadership prior to submission to government agencies.
  • Maintain and update SOPs, assumptions, and pricing methodologies on a regular basis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, contracting, trade, and commercial leadership to support pricing strategy and compliance.
  • Analyze pricing trends, commercial contract terms, and gross-to-net impacts, ensuring alignment across systems and reporting structures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in government pricing, healthcare finance, Medicare/Medicaid, or a closely related analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. government pricing regulations, methodologies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify key drivers of variance.
  • Experience working with pricing models, commercial contracts, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
