Job Description
As Associate Commercial Counsel, you will be responsible for commercial contracting, including drafting and negotiating SOWs, MSAs, NDAs. You will work closely with our legal and compliance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
This role is fully remote in the United States.
Primary duties
- Reviewing and drafting a variety of customer and vendor agreements including SOWs, MSAs, and NDAs
- Collaborating with our sales, finance, and operations teams
- Analyzing and advising stakeholders on risk, and providing mitigation options
- Maintaining a contracts database, and collaborating with legal operations to improve workflows for key stakeholders
- Creating playbooks and a knowledge base to scale legal operations
What We’ll Love About You
- Qualified lawyer with 3+ years of experience working on commercial transactions with preferably with at least one year in house experience
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines.
- Advise cross-functional stakeholders, give practical guidance, and balance commercial objectives with company policies and risk management
- Experience supporting a high volume sales process
