This role exists to support our growing inbound and outbound demand and to develop the next generation of GlassHouse closers. You’ll learn our sales motion end-to-end while directly impacting revenue from day one.
Inbound lead qualification and routing - speed to lead follow-up. You will help manage and build our AI sales assistants to support our inbound lead routing. This is a partnership with marketing to convert inbound leads into booked demos for Sr. AE’s.
Inbound lead qualification, routing and meeting bookings.
Outbound lead generation - Working with AEs and marketing to target and go after high-value outbound leads, as well as convert email leads from our 3rd party agency to booked appointments. Including:
Cold calling, In-Person events, LinkedIn messaging, List Building, and email outreach.
SMB sales - As you are training for a full-cycle AE role, you will be conducting demos for SMB prospects to learn our products, processes, and market. This will get you ready to ‘close’ deals on your own.
Growth into a Sr. Account Executive: This role is designed as an entry/training position for a full-cycle closing-only position. We are looking for someone who is trying to grow and develop into a Sr. Account Executive.
Hybrid work: We prefer to hire someone in the Nashville area who will be in our Franklin/Cool Springs office 3 days a week.
Participate in weekly team meetings and trainings - These are generally at 8:30 am or 3:00 pm CT but may vary based on events and team availability.
As an early-stage company, roles may change, and expand over time. You will have an opportunity to participate in lots of new initiatives and projects.
Attend and engage during 1-2 annual team meetings. These are generally 3 days, including travel.
About You:
The “must-haves”
Mission and Value alignment
1-2 years in a SaaS business SDR role for either outbound or inbound lead management.
Very strong verbal and written communication skills - you pay attention to details and are good at getting ideas explained succinctly and effectively.
Career growth goal of being a full-cycle Sr. Account executive.
Problem solving and coachability - We spend 2-3 hours per week in team coaching/practice. The best fit will be someone who is focused on learning and is good at ‘figuring things out’ by trial/error. Practice is an important part of our process.
Experience in a startup or small business that is moving/changing fast (early stage). You’ll have lots of room to try new things here - you’ll need to proactively find things to do since our management structure is ‘flat’ without a large number of people manager roles.
You’re very computer-competent and can handle software tools b/c you’ve used them before (maybe not our specific stack, but you’re not afraid of technology)
We only hire in Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones to keep our team within 1 hour plus or minus from our ‘hub’ in Nashville.
The “nice to haves”
Nashville, TN or Indianapolis, IN proximity - Home service, franchise, or real estate experience
Familiar with home service software like CRMs, FSMs or other sales platforms
Outbound sales/marketing platform experience - familiarity with outbound tools like ZoomInfo, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.
