About the role


The Assistant Vice President of B2B National Accounts - Corporate and Workforce Partnership will be an integral part of the Corporate Outreach Executive team. The AVP is responsible for generating new business revenue by engaging regional and national companies and organizations in partnership agreements that lead to Workforce Development opportunities and new student enrollments for our various university partners. In collaboration with the department of Enrollment and other Core Education staff who are focused on workforce development initiatives, the AVP of B2B National Accounts - Corporate and Workforce Partnerships is responsible for managing and executing strategies around corporate and workforce development partnerships.


What you'll do


  • Research and establish partnerships with companies and organizations of over 15k employees in various market verticals i.e. healthcare, technology, manufacturing, retail, and financial services.
  • Through establishing consultative partnership agreements, prospecting and relationship management efforts, identifying workforce development needs that drive to solution development and/or new student leads for the recruiting team
  • Collaborate with leadership in the various Core departments to achieve fiscal goals
  • Consult and collaborate with appropriate existing corporate partners to identify new workforce development opportunities
  • Represent Core Education at various strategic conferences and events to establish new prospective corporate partners and potential workforce development solutions
  • Leverage resources and relationships with client institutions to generate new prospects and applicants within the corporate outreach program
  • Manage expense budgets related to the implementation and execution of the corporate partnership program
  • Prepare weekly business development/new prospect reports
  • Plan, participate, and lead unique events as necessary to solidify relationships with existing partners and potential prospects
  • Research, implement, and manage new partnership initiatives - developing processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Deliver presentations that inspire action to a diverse audience of potential prospects, and corporate decision makers
  • Determine resources required to achieve articulation goals and formulate materials and other efforts necessary to facilitate partnerships
  • Be able to work independently and proactively
  • Leverage problem-solving, planning and project management skills to find ways to get in front of potential prospects
  • Work in a collaborative environment with individuals at all levels
  • Business travel will be required
  • Perform duties as assigned by senior leadership



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, or another translatable field
  • Minimum of five years of consultative sales experience, demonstrating a successful ability to secure tailored solutions agreements
  • Excellent executive presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, to senior level decision makers
  • Proven ability to collaborate, build consensus and work effectively with university partners and within the corporate culture
  • An entrepreneur at heart, with proven ability to work independently and effectively and in a constantly changing environment



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ten years of experience selling to senior level decision makers at large organizations

• Experience working with Learning & Development leaders within a corporate setting

• A master’s degree in business, education, leadership, or related area
