  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate external audit processes, ensuring comprehensive preparation, accurate documentation, and timely resolution of audit findings.

  • Internal Controls: Assist in designing, implementing, and continuously improving internal control frameworks to maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and corporate governance standards.

  • Technical Accounting: Provide guidance on technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, inventory accounting, intercompany transactions, foreign currency translation, and other complex accounting issues.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement and drive automation and efficiency initiatives across global accounting systems and procedures.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and other functional departments to ensure cohesive financial management and reporting practices.

  • Staff Development and Leadership: Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering professional growth and building a high-performing team environment.

What You’ll Need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA designation strongly preferred.

  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in supervisory or managerial roles, ideally within global or multinational companies.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and a deep understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance.

  • International Exposure: Experience managing or supporting global accounting operations, including familiarity with multi-currency environments and international regulatory compliance.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical capabilities, detail orientation, and proactive approach to identifying and solving complex financial issues.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating across various business units and geographic regions.

  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop accounting teams, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
