Overview
As an Assessment Coordinator with Tri-Star Virtual Academy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of tests for our students across the State of Tennessee. You will be responsible for coordinating test registration, proctoring testing events, preparing testing materials, and supervising test sites to maintain the integrity of the exams. Additionally, you will assist with test logistics, manage test supplies, and support students, faculty, and staff regarding testing-related inquiries.
Essential Duties
- Coordinate test registration, prepare testing materials, assign students to test locations, supervise test sites, and implement test security measures.
- Facilitate accommodations for students with disabilities or special needs, review requests, arrange appropriate testing arrangements, and ensure compliance
- Manage logistics, and coordinate test site personnel, equipment needs, and test supplies.
- Serve as a main point of contact for testing-related inquiries and support, providing information and guidance to students, faculty, and staff.
- Ensure adherence to test security protocols and compliance with testing regulations, training, and supervising personnel.
- Manage accurate and timely reporting of test scores, updating records, and assisting with interpretation.
- Assist students in accessing test preparation resources/services.
- Participate in professional development activities, and collaborate in after-action reviews to enhance testing processes and strategies.
- Work cross-functionally to engage students and families to get students to testing sites
- Proctor in-person, on-site, and virtual assessments within the assigned testing region or area of responsibility as determined by the department manager.
- Produce "Subject Matter Expert" documentation and training on specific state or national tests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (during seasonal testing events);
- Knowledgeable of state testing procedures and requirements;
- Knowledgeable of district testing programs and software;
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and families;

Education & Certification Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred. Significant experience and proven ability in a related position or industry will substitute for a four-year degree.
