This role is focused on driving business growth across assigned territories by expanding dealership partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and increasing market penetration for financial products. The Area Manager acts as a trusted advisor to dealership partners, supporting them in structuring deals, improving application flow, and maximizing profitability. Operating in a fast-paced, field-based environment, this position requires strong autonomy, frequent travel, and consistent customer engagement. The role blends sales execution with consultative partnership management, ensuring high levels of dealer satisfaction and long-term retention. It is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives on relationship-building, problem-solving, and performance ownership. Success in this role directly impacts revenue growth and market expansion within the assigned region.


Accountabilities:
  • Drive new business development by signing new dealerships and expanding product penetration within existing accounts through consistent field engagement and relationship building.
  • Act as a strategic partner to dealers by advising F&I Managers on deal structuring, improving application quality, and supporting profitability goals.
  • Maintain strong daily dealership activity, including regular visits, follow-ups on approved applications, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal credit and funding teams to ensure efficient approvals, fast funding cycles, and smooth deal execution.
  • Partner with compliance teams to resolve operational or regulatory issues impacting dealer performance.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring responsiveness, problem resolution, and long-term partner satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of successful sales experience with a proven track record in high-performance, client-facing roles.
  • Experience in auto finance, dealership operations, underwriting, or subprime auto lending strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, deal structuring, and market dynamics within automotive financing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, adaptability, and ability to manage competing priorities in a field-based, fast-changing environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools and strong organizational skills to manage pipeline, reporting, and dealer activity.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel daily within a defined territory (up to 60 miles radius).
