  • Gathering and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Configuring, testing, implementing, and maintaining clinical and enterprise applications and related workflows.
  • Collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to support integrations, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
  • Supporting incident management and service requests in alignment with defined service levels.
  • Participating in system testing, documentation, training materials, and knowledge base development.
  • Contributing to small to mid-sized projects, including coordination and project management activities.
  • Participating in on-call rotations and supporting operational continuity when required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with healthcare application knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills. You are comfortable working in structured environments, managing competing priorities, and collaborating across technical and business teams. Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or related IT roles.
  • Strong understanding of system analysis, troubleshooting, and application workflows.
  • Experience working with enterprise or clinical systems (EHR, ERP, scheduling, billing, or similar platforms).
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into clear technical documentation and solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Epic certification (especially Dorothy or Comfort) or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months is a plus.
  • Experience with change management processes is preferred.
