This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Appian Integration Engineer in the United States.

We are seeking a talented Appian Integration Engineer to support multiple digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will work on fast-paced, high-impact projects that modernize business process management systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and integrate solutions that streamline workflows, enhance data interoperability, and leverage low-code/no-code technologies. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic, collaborative environments and enjoys applying creative problem-solving to complex technical challenges while contributing to innovative enterprise solutions.


  • Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Appian Web APIs and plug-ins for integration with external systems.
  • Build and manage APIs, Connected Systems, and Integration Objects to enhance application interoperability.
  • Utilize Appian Data Fabric to create data products and manage data models.
  • Implement automated workflows, security rules, and business process automation using the Appian platform.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and other developers to deliver solutions featuring interfaces, process models, reports, and dashboards.
  • Leverage Appian RPA and AI capabilities to automate processes and improve system intelligence.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer programming, code reviews, testing, and DevOps deployment pipelines.
  • Support non-development environments and production systems, ensuring compliance with security and quality standards.
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an Appian Developer, with at least 2 years focused on external integrations.
  • Experience with Appian Data Fabric and Process Automation platform.
  • Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTTP methods, API versioning, and secure integration patterns (OAuth 2.0, TLS/HTTPS, SAML/JWT).
  • Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts for Appian deployments (Compare & Deploy, Git, automated package promotion).
  • Appian Lead Developer certification preferred.
  • Experience in Federal Government projects preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance of Public Trust once hired.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, or C# is a plus.
