Apparel Graphic Designer / Design Assistant

The Apparel Graphic Designer / Design Assistant will be responsible for developing original apparel-focused designs and supporting the creative process from concept through production. This role requires strong attention to detail, ownership of design execution, and the ability to translate brand concepts into compelling physical products.

• Create original graphics and artwork specifically designed for apparel and garment applications.
• Develop designs suitable for cut-and-sew garments, ensuring alignment with production requirements.
• Translate brand identity, creative direction, and product goals into wearable designs.
• Create garment mockups and visual presentations to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Support design iterations from initial concepts through final approved products.
• Prepare production-ready design files and assets when required.
• Research fashion trends, visual references, and industry inspiration to support creative development.
• Contribute ideas during concept development and help shape overall design direction.
• Maintain and evolve a consistent brand aesthetic across apparel collections.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand feedback, refine concepts, and deliver high-quality final designs.
• Manage multiple creative projects while maintaining timelines and design standards.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have professional experience in apparel graphic design or fashion-related creative roles, with a strong ability to create original artwork and understand garment development processes. They should combine creative vision with technical design skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• 2–5+ years of experience in apparel graphic design, fashion design, or related creative roles.
• Strong graphic design capabilities with a focus on apparel and garment-based applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and experience creating original artwork from scratch.
• Demonstrated experience with cut-and-sew apparel design processes.
• Strong understanding of garment mockups, product development workflows, and design iteration cycles.
• Experience contributing to creative concepts, visual research, and trend analysis.
• Background in apparel or fashion design with a graphics-focused approach.
• Strong understanding of branding, aesthetics, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of creative deliverables.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends, particularly within streetwear and apparel markets.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to incorporate feedback effectively.
